mysql_insert_id



mysql_insert_id() convertira le type retourné de la fonction native mysql c api mysql_insert_id() en un type long (nommé int en php). si votre colonne auto_increment a une colonne de type bigint ( bits), la conversion peut résulter en une valeur incorrecte. À la place, utilisez la fonction sql interne à mysql

if you're using pdo, it's pdo::lastinsertid() . so if your database handle is called $link : $order_id = $link>lastinsertid();. if you're using mysqli, it's mysqli::$insert_id or mysqli_insert_id() : $order_id = $link>insert_id;. returns the auto generated id used in the last query.

à tous ! bon comme le dit le sujet du topic, j'utilise mysql_insert_id() pour recupérer le dernier id de la requete placé juste avant (insert into) et ca me retourne sytematiquement !! et pourtant, la colonne id de ma requete est bien auto_increment ! quelqu'un a t il une idée d'ou ca vient sachant que  free html xhtml css javascript dhtml xml dom xsl xslt rss ajax asp ado php sql tutorials, references, examples for web building.

i do not fully understand this functions purpose. i think it's supposed to return the last id from the inserted database entry. this is being used in a function that handles three uploads at the click of a button. for ($i = ; $i < $counter; $i). i am fairly new at php. is there an equivalent to this function for mysqli
