. pixeye ¶. years ago. i am quite surprised about previous posts. here are my advices: prefer the count() function instead of sizeof() as sizeof() is only an alias of count() and does not mean the same in many other languages based on c (avoid ambiguity). prefer the powerful foreach() function to iterate over arrays. parameter, description. array, required. specifies the array. mode, optional. specifies the mode. possible values: default. does not count all elements of multidimensional arrays; counts the array recursively (counts all the elements of multidimensional arrays)
